Prong Buckles / Center Bar Buckles
Prong Buckles provide adjustments for belts and straps by means of a
hole in the belt secured by either a
prong
or a
fixed prong
on a center bar. This ensures a secure
fastening, especially if the hole in the strap is reinforced with an
eyelet or grommet.
Fixed Prong Belt Buckles are stamped and are for light use. Single Prong
Belt Buckles are
cast or wire and are appropriate for heavier-duty applications.
Prong Buckles are commonly used for belting, headwear, garments, gloves, footwear,
sportswear, equipment, luggage, handbags and coats.
