Metal Bolt Snap Hooks

In this style of snap hook, a  spring-loaded shaft is pushed up to open the loop, then it snaps back to close the loop when released. It's easy in, easy out, so these are commonly used in utilitarian applications such as lighter-weight dog leashes, knapsacks, camping gear, and automotive.

Also known as "dog leash snap hooks", slide bolt snap hooks are generally more economical  than the trigger snap hooks.
